Learn To Do By Doing
Members can choose from a variety of projects, participating in multiple as opposed to focusing on one single skill or subject.
If a member has an idea for something they want to learn and we can find a leader for it, we will always endeavor to add more projects!
Members pay an annual fee to 4-H Alberta of $145 (2026-27). Clubs charge an additional project fee based on club funds and project types. While 4-H endeavors to make programming financially achieveable, projects will have costs beyond registration fees that the member is responsible for, i.e.: livestock purchase, feed, material costs in a sewing project, canine tools like treats and a leash, etc.
What is the meeting schedule?
A club-wide General Meeting is held once a month, on a Saturday morning. The Sheep Project meeting will follow after a short lunch break. All other projects meet on other days, schedules are set once the groups have had a chance to see what works for the majority.
